Prof. Mathias Hüsing

The new tool “Mechanism Developer” (MechDev) can be used to analyse and synthesise planar mechanisms with one or more degrees of freedom. The one-day workshop includes:

  • Software interface and operation of MechDev
  • Generation of simple mechanism-elements and mechanisms
  • Kinetostatic investigations and spring-assisted systems
  • Simulation of mechanisms with several degrees of freedom
  • Application of motion laws for controlled servo drives
  • Synthesis and analysis of cam mechanisms
  • Example applications from different industries

Workshop participants should bring their own laptop. Everyone will receive a user license and a download link.
